Possible Worldwide makes South American acquisition

Possible Worldwide, a New York-based advertising agency with a major presence in Cincinnati, announced the purchase Friday of a Brazilian agency known as Gringo.

The acquisition expands the global footprint of Possible Worldwide, formed in February by combining four agencies owned by WPP of London. One of those four was formerly known as Bridge Worldwide, which has about 350 Cincinnati employees, including Jay Woffington, president of the Possible agency cluster.
