Home sales sink to lowest level of the year

An existing home is shown for sale in North Andover, Mass. Fewer people purchased previously occupied homes in May, bringing sales down to their lowest level of the year, the National Association of Realtors said Tuesday.The crucial spring home selling season is almost gone and it has left a wounded housing market limping in its wake.
