Sen. Rand Paul joined Obama on Air Force One

President Barack Obama was joined on the ride to Cincinnati today by Ky. Sen Rand Paul, a Tea Party Republican who told talk show host Laura Inghram yesterday that he wanted to lobby Obama for an emergency bridge fund while riding to Cincinnati on Air Force One.

The president touched down at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport shortly after 2 p.m. today.

Paul is touting legislation that would create a national list that prioritizes bridge and tunnel repair. He wants to shift funding now allocated for landscaping and nature preservation so it can be used for emergency repairs instead...
