Cincinnati, U.S. home values fall in 1Q

Home values in the Cincinnati area fell compared to last year, but not as sharply as in other parts of the nation. In the Cincinnati metro area, the average home value was $135,000 at the end of April, down 3.5 percent from the fourth quarter of 2010 and down 4.3 percent from a year ago. Home values in the United States fell 3 percent from the fourth quarter of 2010 to the first quarter of this year, and declined 8.2 percent year-over-year to $169,600. National home values have fallen 29.5 percent since peaking in June 2006, according to Zillow...
